BASE is seeking an Architect to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and planning building projects, preparation of the Bill of Materials (BOM), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), coordinating the construction process, inspecting construction sites, collaborating with other professionals, researching and developing new techniques and materials, and communicating effectively with clients and stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and sustainable housing solutions.
• Develop architectural designs and construction drawings for residential projects.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project requirements.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to support project implementation.
• Work closely with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture preferable
• Preferably with exposure to Bamboo construction and design
• Professional license or certification as an Architect.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.
• Strong design and technical skills with a focus on sustainability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in residential or community-based projects is preferred.
• Fluency in English is preferable, and knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural components and systems, ensuring their integrity, safety, and compliance with relevant building codes and regulations, as well as collaborating with architects, designers, and construction teams, conducting site inspections and assessments to support project implementation, and providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success.

• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and building codes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in residential or community-focused projects is a plus.
• Fluency in English is preferable, and knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel.
