On June 2, 2017, Base Bahay and Roxas Foundation signed a Memorandum of Agreement to build a bamboo treatment facility and 26 houses to benefit the farmers and their families in Batangas. The facility will also be used to serve as a weaving center for the wives of sugar cane farmers, making the most our of sugar cane leaves which previously were just a waste from processing the plant.
On May 30, 2017, Base Bahay and Hineleban Foundation officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement for a project to build a community facility in Bukidnon. The facility will be used to empower the indigenous communities in Mindanao by using it as a venue for peace, livelihood, environment and leadership programs. The community center will also serve as a bamboo processing facility where the supply of the materials will come from to build 20 houses using CBF. Upon completion of the housing project, the facility will continue to supply projects in other areas to provide the locals extra source of livelihood.
On 18 May 2017, Base Bahay, together with Vincentian Missionaries Social Development Foundation Inc. (VMSDFI), turned over fifty homes to their beneficiaries in Vicente Village, Bagong Silangan through the project dubbed as “Bagong Silangan Kawayan Housing Initiative”.
